I love this mc even though the donghua, is donghua quality level, this man waited for pavilion master to come and then tell him what happened in front of everyone. I just like how this mc uses his brains and isnt a wussy, i wish more japanese anime had mcs like this.. I really can never understand why a studio would see a really good novel or manga and then change everything that made it good. Well i guess since they dont even treat their workers like human beings they wont care about the audience either.

At least this one only changes little bits, thanks god. They only omit some talks or deliberations that repeat later with more context and conclusion (and yet they blindly follow every pointless onlooker conversation, lol). But, this small change just makes following the story when reading novel easier while ppl watching animation are stuck in some wtf moments until reveil.

I sooo agree with you. Some don't believe me when I say most Chinese MCs are better than Japanese MCs. That's what made me prefer watching donghuas over animes. I'm tired of watching the typical super dumb, ignorant, and naive Japanese MCs that always have to wait for someone to get hurt or killed before they take action. I'm so glad I have someone who shares my opinion.

Actually it's a matter of preference. There are many good Manga and there are many good Manhua. Now Korean anime is coming up too.

Nevertheless those Thrashy Manga, Manhua are also plentiful. Korean anime....it's still new so I reserved my judgement.

Although this part of mortal realm arc is almost purely political and non fighting, it is really nice intro into this arc which started after competition of 5 kingdoms. It is fair to describe it as in Qin Chen playing chess game that was deteriorating on his side for 300 years and game is played against 3 opponents where up to the end you don't know who the main player is, how they connect or how this whole thing connects to ancient war.

MC using brains, brawn, knowledge, status or even money depending on what is best solution is what really makes this story good because it differentiates whole time

Badass indeed MC didn't panic, or flinch smirked at them like " son do y'all know who I am ", I like when pavilion master said " if ants is master, then what are you " like dirt the ants walk on and homes out of, trash the ants feed upon like its a lot of things beneath ants XD.

I wish this studio could get a budget increase, so they can increase their animation quality and time. 10-12mins at least, this story deserves better backing imo.
